The National NeedleArts Association (TNNA) is sponsoring a educational needlearts booth at the San Mateo Maker Faire, May 21st, 22nd and we are looking for volunteers to teach knitting, crochet, embroidery, needlepoint and cross stitch. This is an amazingly fun experience. We are asking for volunteers to sign up for a few hours of teaching and in return you will receive FREE entrance to Maker Faire (value: $25) on the day you volunteer. There is plenty of easy public transportation to Maker Faire which is taking place at the San Mateo Event Center.

If you aren’t familiar with Maker Faire, it’s a two-day, family-friendly event that celebrates the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) mindset. It is for creative, resourceful people of all ages and backgrounds who like to tinker and love to make things. For more information on Maker Faire go to www.MakerFaire.com.

Please sign up for your volunteer shift: Please include contact information in the “notes to organizer” or email us your contact info to tnnamaker@gmail.com We will be back in touch with more information about your volunteer day at Maker Faire.  Thank you!
